How long and how often should I measure? It is important to first get the accurate picture of your baseline - your natural urinary pattern before any treatment or lifestyle adjustments. To do that, it is recommended that you record all your bathroom trips for at least three days, including bathroom trips at night. Or, make at least 25 uroflow measurements with an adequate voided volume of 100 ml or more. Based on research, this can give you a more reliable uroflow pattern of your daily routine. The results should reveal information about your daily frequency, your voided volume, and nighttime bathroom trips. After establishing the baseline, measuring how long and how often really depends on the purpose and goal of your usage. If you are using proudP along with your doctor's guidance, there might be a treatment duration that the doctor or you want to monitor for the progress. Or you may want to use it to compare before and after surgery to evaluate the efficacy. If you are using proudP for self prostate health check-up on a regular basis, that is great! Keep using it on a regular basis just like your other health tracking tool and check the trends to see if your symptoms are improving deteriorating or staying consistent! The more you have your own numbers, the better understanding of your urinary symptoms.
